He is also an avid writer on marketing, promotion and business topics. He authors a popular blog, Inside the Marketing Mind. Neil’s writing can also be found on BoDo – Business of Design online, where he’s a founding team partner and author of the Marketing Minute. In addition, Tortorella has been a contributing writer for HOW Magazine, a leading graphic design publication.

He has conducted workshops and presentations about sales and marketing to the American Society of Media Photographers, The Graphic Artists Guild/Pratt Institute, SBA partner SCORECounselors to Small Business and is a frequent speaker at local colleges and universities. He was also a speaker at the 2009 HOW Design Conference in Austin, TX. Tortorella was featured in a series of interviews on BizBlock about branding, marketing and small business. The eight-part television series was produced by BEACON-TV in conjunction with the town of Davie, Florida.
